Happy Tuesday! Today’s TTT topic is a Cover Freebie. I went with something very simple — main characters on book covers. While I like lots of cover styles, it is always interesting to see how the publishers/authors envision the main characters. I have heard that traditional publishers vary in the input from authors when it comes to cover art, but we know that with an indie author, what you see is what is in their imagination. The books on my list are from recent reads. I hope you find one to love.

About The Book
Title:Until April Series:Coastal Hearts Author: Janet W. Ferguson Publisher: Southern Sun Press LLC Release Date: June 25, 2026 Genre: Contemporary Christian Romance
Michael Galloway has always believed freedom means living life on his own terms. His career is dedicated to saving the environment and teaching others the importance of taking care of the earth, rivers, and oceans. Heโs building a life with no room for complications. Especially in his love life.
Then tragedy turns April Yancyโs world upside down.
After her husbandโs death, April discovers heโd been hiding devastating secrets, leaving her buried in debt and struggling to protect her childrenโs future. The last person she expects to come to her rescue is Michaelโthe man who shattered her heart years ago.
Michael has few regrets, but hurting April back in grad school still haunts him. When her situation grows desperate, he devises a risky plan to help her rebuild her lifeโฆeven if it means jeopardizing his carefully guarded independence.
Accepting Michaelโs shocking offer could cost April more than her pride. His resistance to her faith clashes with the convictions she holds dear, and trusting him again feels impossible. Yet as doors keep opening and her prayers keep nudging her toward him, April begins to wonder if God is offering her a second chance at more than survival.
An emotional second-chance love story of forgiveness, redemption, and unexpected faith.
Excerpt
A shrill sound jerked April Yancyโs chin up, and her spine straightened in the beach chair sheโd lugged out on the sand. At the same time, another spasm tore through her belly. If only sheโd been well enough to ride with Jack. He had begged to go out on a jet ski for weeks. Theyโd promised him a ride for his third birthday, and heโd clung to that scrap like a seagull with a piece of bread ever since.
Stupid stomach virus. Robertโs parenting skills didnโt allow her the option of resting while he โtook care ofโ Jack.
Where were those two? They should be riding close by now. Her eyes blurred as she stared out at the water. So much nausea.
A wisp of yellow in her peripheral vision caught her attention. The stripe of a life vest. Multiple watercrafts sped around the rock jetties. Which one held Jack? What color had they rented?
A constricting band of dread snarled around her ribs. She hauled herself to her feet, ran toward the rocks, then climbed up to see better.
A colossal crash reverberated across the water. The bone-crunching sound sucked the oxygen from her lungs. She surged forward, scrambling over the riprap. Two of the crafts floated empty of their riders.
Then she saw blond curly hair bobbing in the waves.
Oh, God, no.Not my baby. A scream ripped from her throat. โJack!โ

“This is freedom.”

Happy Tuesday and happy summer! Today TTT is featuring bloggers’ Summer TBR Lists. Mine is short, but sweet ๐ . I do have a favor to ask of you, though. I need to pick something for my book club to read in August. I’ve presented 3 choices — please tell me which you would choose and why. Thanks so much!
Happy Tuesday from the sunny and HOT south! I really wasn’t feeling this week’s TTT prompt — wishlist books. So, I decided to feature books with the word wish in the title. That quickly evolved into books with wish(es), hope(s), and dream(s) in the title. I hope you find one to love!
Happy Tuesday! Today’s TTT is April Showers — interpreted as bloggers please. I have done this topic a few times, so I am going to be all over the place today! I hope you find a book from my list to pique your interest! There are a lot of genres to choose from.
Today’s TTT topic is basically a setting freebie. I chose to feature books in which a boat of some kind plays a significant role in the story. From ocean liners to yachts to rowing sculls — these books have it covered.
Happy Tuesday! My husband and I have a beef with weather TV — it all has to be so dramatic! Over the weekend one cable weather channel titled the falling temps across our area as October Gloom. LOL. The forecast for today is sunny and a high of 69 degrees. If that’s gloom, I’ll take it. ๐ Today’s TTT topic could take a dramatic turn as well, and some of the titles I’m sharing do sound ominous. But I wanted to have books that run the spectrum of weather events, so there are a few pleasant weather days too. I hope you find a book to love.
Did you know that August is Read A Romance Month?! Do we really need a month to remind us! LOL. Anyway, I thought I would feature romance writers in a 3-part series — Contemporary, Historical, and Suspense. These are go-to authors for me. I’ve listed their newest offerings, but be sure to check out their backlists as well. I hope you find one to love. See what I did there? ๐
Happy Tuesday! This week bloggers are sharing book covers with summer vibes. My list comes from books that just say summer to me — beaches, water views, porch swings.
