Happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend with some rest and reading. I traveled to Chicago to participate in the Windy City Saga Tour hosted by Jocelyn Green. It certainly defied expectations! It was such a fantastic trip filled with lots of reader-nerd fun. I was especially thrilled to meet in person many of my favorite authors. If you ever get the opportunity to join a literary tour, I heartily encourage it.
Speaking of defying expectations, my list today includes books I knew I probably would like, but didn’t realize how much I would love them. They are a mix of genres, so there is definitely something for everyone. I hope you find a book to love.

Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Great list!
This series by Gabrielle Meyer is incredible isn’t it? I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but this whole series was beyond my expectations, and I can’t wait for the next to release.
Me too!
yes!! Within These Walls of Sorrow & Gabe’s Timeless series are two that – like you say – I knew I would love but had no idea how much i would love them.
I was thrilled to meet Amanda last weekend at the Novel-Tea.
isn’t she so sweet?
How fun! I enjoy Green’s books quite a lot. I need to read more of them. The Meyer series is one I want to read, too.
Happy TTT!

I agree with you on all these books. I’m still reeling from Meyer’s series. SO good!!!
The Mistletoe Countess checks so many boxes for me–Christian, historical, marriage of convenience, and a mystery to boot? And I enjoy reading Christmas-related books during November and December, so this is going on my list for this year.
I haven’t read any of these, but I’m glad they surpassed what you expected of them.
