Book Blogger Hop

29 Jul

After being gone the past few Fridays, I am finally able to participate in the Friday Book Blogger Hop hosted by Jennifer at Crazy for Books.  This week’s question is a good one!

“Highlight one book you have received this week (for review, from the library, purchased at the store, etc.) that you can’t wait to dig into!”

I had a wonderful opportunity to interview Liz Curtis Higgs at the ICRS 2 weeks ago.  She is definitely one of my favorite authors.  We were talking about a Bible study group I hope to teach in the near future, and her book, Embrace Grace, came up.  She very generously sent me a copy this week to help get me started with this new group of ladies.  I can’t wait to get started!  Thanks so much, Liz!

Embrace Grace offers hope for those of us who long to let go of guilt and embrace the boundless freedom God offers.

Liz Curtis Higgs speaks directly to the hearts of her readers in an engaging and deeply personal way. Page by page, she conveys a simple, powerful message of encouragement, showing women how to accept the gift of divine forgiveness, step by gentle step, and release lingering doubts, fears, and regrets.
