All 3 of my children are going to college this fall. My daughter, a sophomore, left today for soccer conditioning. We take my youngest son, a freshman, tomorrow to move in to his dorm. And my oldest will start his senior year in about a week and a half. That’s right — 3 kids, 3 different colleges! The following image is for son #2 who when told that all incoming freshman were required to read Eudora Welty’s The Optimist’s Daughter, said “we have to read a book?!”. I actually wrote my honor’s thesis on Welty’s novels!
