875286Rediscover the simple joy of wonder!
What started as a simple, late night stroll to clear his head from the hassles of the season turned into something that can only be described as…real.

al-andrewsAl Andrews is the director of Porter’s Call, a ministry to recording artists and their families in Franklin, Tennessee. He devotes 100% of the profits of his children’s books to charities that aid children in crisis and inner city initiatives.

My Impressions:

A Walk One Winter Night is a small book with a big message. In today’s world of instant information, sound bites and quick fixes, be drawn into a quiet message of the real Christmas. Using detailed, monochromatic illustrations, Al Andrews presents one man’s discovery of the real meaning of Christmas amidst the cynicism of life. Perfect as a gift book, A Walk One Winter Night is a book destined to be read and re-read every Christmas. A wonderful reminder of what is truly real about Christmas.

Recommended.
