Happy Tuesday! I was not feeling the TTT topic today — DNF (did not finish) books. Didn’t we just post about that topic? I typically finish all the books that I start primarily because I am pretty picky about the books I choose to read — mood reading, favorite genres or authors, etc. So today I am posting an update about my 2025 book blanket. Below are the books I have recently read and the granny squares I have made to remember them by. And in good conscience, I have to confess that I may be choosing books based on pretty covers. 😉 Do you have any bookish projects going on?

2025 Book Blanket Update

I love blankets made of granny squares! I used to make them, just like one of my grandmothers. My “bookish project” is having a new book published–Meadowlark Songs: A Motherline Legacy, due out next month! Seven generations, fun to write.
What a lovely idea! Looking forward to seeing the finished blanket. Here’s my list for this week: https://damppebbles.com/2025/03/25/toptentuesday-25th-march-2025/
Such a cool project!
LOL, picking your books based on pretty covers, I had not thought to do that! I have finished 31 squares for my book blanket. I also started a baby blanket for a young mom due in August, I am doing a huge granny square blanket. I am also making a book quilt, which I have wanted to do for over a year.
Wow! You are busy!
I love this project! The only bookish project I have on the go at the moment is my reading map that I started doing a couple of years ago. Though I have seen a few different book ornaments that would be fun to make too.

I like the reading map idea!
I wish I was creative enough to do something like this. It’ll look awesome when it’s finished. 🙂
