Papa slowly closed the Bible, while Lucy sat quietly. She had been excited to learn about this first family, but now she felt sad thinking about all that had been lost in the garden
and about all the times she didn’t do what was right. Papa Joe could see she was troubled.
“Lucy, don’t be sad. God still had a good plan for the family He created. That
includes us! People may look different, come from different countries, and speak different languages; but we all have some important things in common. We are all created in God’s image, and we all mess up. We struggle to obey God sometimes, but He never stops loving us.
“Lucy, always remember and don’t ever forget: we are all related, and we are all created by God, Whose love for us is never-changing, never-failing, and never-ending. And
the great news is that from the very beginning, God had a rescue plan. Someone special was coming, Lucy, and He would save the world!”

I personally think this book should be in schools. I think it might help to teach kindness and that we all are equal.
