It is always hard to compile a best of list every year. I read a lot of really good books in 2019. A. Lot. But in going back through the archives, I found the following eleven that captured my imagination, touched my emotions, and made me think about my world and myself long after I closed the cover. The books are a mixed bag of genres — speculative, allegory, dual timeline, contemporary, and historical — so basically something for every taste. I hope one grabs your interest and you find a great read! (The links are to my reviews.)

I enjoyed The Printed Letter Bookshop, too. I have The Medallion in my Kindle app.
The Medallion was great. Not an easy read, but very moving. I loved that it was inspired by real people.
The Medallion was on a few other lists this week, too. I’m glad so many folks liked it.
My TTT.
I’ve only read two of these, but have several more of them on my wish list!
Hope you can read them soon! Happy New Year!
I’ve heard good things about The Printed Letter Bookshop. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your TTT. 🙂
They all look great! I need to catch up!
My TBR shelf and my Kindle are out of control! But all the new books . . .
I’m still working on reading all the books on this list, but I’ve read The Secrets of Paper and Ink and The Medallion and loved both of them!
So glad!!
Great list. I have read several of these. I have Baggage Handler on my kindle and really need to get to it. I have seen it on several of these top for 2019 lists.
It is a short and quick read, but packed with so much to think about.
