Top 10 Tuesday (+ A Giveaway) — Bookmarks!

12 Nov

While I do use bookmarks, I am not above dog-earing corners in a pinch. I even write in books too, but that’s a different meme. 😉 Today’s Top 10 Tuesday is all about bookmarks. I have quite the collection and have a hard time giving them up, even when they become ragged. They remind me of special people, times, and places. Below are just a smattering of the bookmarks that I own.

Handmade Bookmarks

Bookmarks Commemorating Trips

Bookmarks From Favorite Authors

This last picture is what I really use most often, though. A Book Notes Bookmark that I designed to help keep up with the characters, settings, themes, etc. of the books I review.

What about you? What is your favorite bookmark?

Giveaway!

I am celebrating my 10 Year Blogiversary by giving away a Big Box of Books! Also included are some bookmarks! Click HERE for the giveaway post.

Oh those handmaid bookmarks, they’re so beautiful. 🙂 🙂
I used to be against dog-earing and writing on books, and like no one, NO ONE, touches my books but me. It’s one of our house rules but now, I’m OK with all of these. In fact I now started writing on the pages of my book, suddenly, I want them to look used. 🙂 🙂

I am less picky now too. Although I don’t appreciate someone returning my books “waterlogged”!

Happy Blogiversary and thanks for the chance🙂I collect bookmarks and look forward to choosing a new one as I start a new book. My favorite one was gifted to me by my brother. It’s purple leather and is embossed with a quote, “Where there is love, there is life.” It has bite marks on it from when my daughter used it for teething.

Happy 10 year blogoversary! It was my 10 year this year as well! I’m glad to see on some of these posts that I’m not the only one who does dog-ear pages at times. Love seeing your bookmarks!

I’m not a monster, but I don’t tend to use bookmarks either. I tend to use receipts or scraps of paper. LOL

Anything at hand works, except for banana peels. 😉

Your Booknotes Bookmark is such a great idea! It would definitely be useful when blogging about books later. Great post!

I really need to start buying a bookmark when I’m on vacation. I have a few, but they’re perfect keepsakes. Especially when traveling and space is limited. 😉

I used to get mugs, but my cupboard is full. A bookmark is a great keepsake.

Oh yes, mugs. That would take a whole separate post. 😃
