Happy Friday! I just love suspense novels, and I am excited to dive in (sorry/not sorry 😉 ) to Lynn H. Blackburn‘s next book in her Dive Team Investigations series, In Too Deep. The first book in the series had wonderful characters and non-stop action — I expect the same from this book too.

When the dive team is called in to recover a body from a submerged car, they aren’t prepared to find an encrypted laptop–or an unsettling connection between investigator Adam Campbell and the dead accountant.
Adam turns to his friend Dr. Sabrina Fleming — a professor at the local university with unparalleled computer security and forensics skills–to recover the files from the laptop. But the deeper they dig, the deadlier the investigation becomes. When evidence uncovers a human trafficking ring and implicates members of Adam’s own family, he and Sabrina will have to risk everything to solve the case.
The truth could set hundreds free–but someone is willing to do whatever it takes to silence anyone who threatens to reveal their secrets. Award-winning author Lynn H. Blackburn invites readers back to Carrington, North Carolina, where everything is not as it seems and sinister elements lurk behind the idyllic façade.

My first line is from Stratagem by Robin Caroll:
“ According to your estimation, she has eight minutes to figure out she can’t open the doorunless her employee uses the key he got in the last room.”
I cannot wait to read that book! Thanks for sharing the first line!
Happy Friday!🍁
My first lines come from Things Left Unsaid by Courtney Walsh….
This is it, Lyndie. Don’t blow it. Lyndie St. James stood in the hallway of Judson Music Studios, willing herself to open the door. A door that, in the past few months , had come to mean so much, thanks to constant reminders that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Have an awesome weekend and happy reading!🍁🙃💕
Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a great weekend!
I like that first line! It paints a picture. 🙂
My first line on the blog is from Susan May Warren’s Wait for Me.
Here’s the first line of the book I’m starting later TONIGHT! “Thomas knew the moment Amber Sterlington entered Almack’s ballroom.” –A Heart Revealed by Josi S. Kilpack.
Happy weekend!
Thanks for sharing. I bet you have already finished your book! 🙂
