Book Giveaway: Stressed-Less Living

8 Oct

Stress is a universal epidemic, which has created desperation for peace in the hearts, minds, and souls of people everywhere. The problems of today’s world have created a sense of secret panic in the hearts people everywhere, all of whom are desperate to find stress relief, yet usually looking in all the wrong places.

By unpacking God’s biblical promises, Tracie helps readers identify the root causes of their stress, learn how to embrace God’s peace in the midst of chaos and adversity, and discover how to tap into God’s stress solutions, instead of temporary stress-relief methods that the world has to offer. If you have tried everything else to tackle the disease of stress in your life, with little success, it might be time to give Jesus a try.

Tracie Miles is a member of the national speaker team with Proverbs 31 Ministries and enjoys speaking to women’s groups and at keynote events and weekend retreats across the country.

Her passion is to lead women closer to the heart of God, help them embrace their value and purpose in Him, and inspire them to live intentionally for Christ.

Tracie’s new book, Stressed-Less Living: Finding God’s Peace In Your Chaotic World, will be available October 2, 2012. She is a contributing writer for the Proverbs 31 Encouragement For Today Devotions, also featured on BibleGateway and Crosswalk, reaching nearly 600,000 readers every day. She has also been featured several times in the P31 Woman magazine. Tracie is also the author of Reinventing Your Rainbow, an inspirational book for women focused on finding forgiveness, peace, and joy, while discovering the purpose God created them to fulfill.

Tracie has been married to her husband, Michael, for over 22 years. They have three children and live in Charlotte, NC. Tracie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and worked in the corporate world for 15 years until God placed a call on her heart to focus on Christian speaking and writing. In addition to being a national Proverbs 31 speaker, Tracie is also a Corporate Trainer in the areas of stress management, work/life balance, team building and leadership.

    Hi Tracie,
My 25 year old daughter knows that through Jesus and our faith she survived Bone Cancer and the loss of her shoulder resulting in a Titanium implant. She spent a year as an in patient receiving 5 Chemos a day 5 days a week when she was 7 years old. This has left her with a depression along with the loss of her grandmother and 2 uncles she was very close to. It’s overwhelmed her and no medicines have helped. Stressed Less Living sounds like an answer for her. So please enter me. 🙂

Job demands cause the most stress in my life. While I LOVE my job, I feel like a juggler with ever increasing numbers of responsibilities to handle and keep operating smoothly. I’d love to read the book you’re giving away.

This sounds great! Not having a loved one with cancer, nor a son or daughter on a foreign mission field or deployed in the armed forces, nor suffering from depression or divorce…I feel that I cannot complain about stress! But I do homeschool every morning and then go to my part-time job, and that can sometimes be a balancing act. God is good and His amazing grace has brought us safe thus far…I know it will also lead us Home. Thanks for the giveaway! I know I would benefit from this book.

My husband is an inner city pastor and we face all kinds of unique challenges raising a family on a very low income in a low income area. We are always being reminded that the only thing we know for certain is that we always need to be dependant on God to meet our needs.
