YOUNG ADULT READING GROUP

21 Jun

A new reading group is forming just for young adults (11th Graders – College/Career age).  This summer, we are reading Imaginary Jesus by Matt Mikalatos.  One copy of Matt’s book is available in the library.

Is the pleasant robed man at the coffee shop really Jesus—or just Matt Mikalatos’s conveniently created imitation of Christ? With the help of the apostle Peter and a talking donkey, Matt searches Portland—determined to exorcise the impostor, find the real Jesus, and confront him with the question that’s haunted him for years. . . .

Hey RBC library! This is really cool. Let me know if I can skype in for a video conference call or something… that would be fun! Enjoy the reading group!

Hey Matt! Thanks for dropping by. Loved the book, even used it in my women’s Bible study class.
