Happy Friday all! I think I am actually getting back into the reading swing of things! It’s been a slow couple of months, but I have just finished a fabulous book (Aftermath by Terri Blackstock) and am ready to begin reading At Lighthouse Point by Suzanne Woods Fisher. I loved the first two books in the Three Sisters Island series and cannot wait to return to the quaint and quirky Maine island.
Here’s the first line:
It was a long way home.
Blaine Grayson returns to Three Sisters Island with a grand plan — to take Camp Kicking Moose to the next level. Her dream starts to unravel when she discovers Moose Manor’s kitchen has been badly remodeled by her sister, Cam, who doesn’t know how to cook. Added to that blow is the cold shoulder given by her best friend, Artie Lotosky, now a doctor to the unbridged Maine islands.
As old wounds are opened, Blaine starts to wonder if she made a mistake by coming home. Little by little, she must let go of one dream to discover a new one, opening her heart to a purpose and a future she had never imagined.
Bestselling author Suzanne Woods Fisher invites you back to the coast of Maine for a story that reminds you to release what doesn’t matter and cling to what does: faith, family, and friendships.
Suzanne Woods Fisher loves stories worth telling about people worth remembering. With over a million copies of her book sold worldwide, this bestselling, award-winning author of more than 30 books is always on the lookout for the unsung hero with an untold story.

I’m looking forward to reading this story!
My first line comes from Seeking Sanctuary by Susanne Dietze https://wp.me/po307-1QF
Thanks for stopping and sharing!
Just finished that whole Three Sisters Island trilogy! So good!
From The Nature of a Lady by Roseanna White:
5 June. 1906. Penzance, Cornwall, England
More beauty than Lady Elizabeth Sinclair had ever thought possible beckoned to her-a turquoise sea, blue sky wisped with soft white clouds, birds cartwheeling through the air, islands studding it all with the promise of life she’d never had the opportunity to examine up close.
I’ve seen this book a lot of places. On the TBR wishlist.
Happy Friday! My first line is from “The Harmony of Love” by Kimberly Rae Jordan:
“Gavin Colley walked along the wide carpeted hallway, hoping his stride looked purposeful and confident to anyone he passed.”
Thanks for sharing!
Happy Friday!
Today, I’m sharing the first line from The Nature of a Lady by Roseanna M. White: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2021/05/07/first-line-friday-182/. I’m still reading this book so I’ll share another line from this book.
“Libby had to bite her lip to keep the laughter from spilling out at the way Oliver Tremayne’s eyes yet again went wide with panic.”
Have a great weekend. Happy reading! 😀❤📚
That book looks so good. Enjoy!
Happy Sunday! This week on my blog, I shared the first line from The Paris Betrayal by James R. Hannibal: “From a rooftop perch, Ben Calix watched the courier leave the Tiber and cross the piazza.”

I can’t wait to read that!
