Happy Friday everyone! It turned cold here in the Sunny South, so I have been snuggled up with a good book — Daughters of Northern Shores by Joanne Bischof. I have to say that while I had the fireplace going, my first glimpse of Norway through the eyes of Haakon Norgaard did nothing to warm me up. Brrr! But I am loving the return visit to Blackbird Mountain, Virginia!

Sounds like a good read. On my blog, I shared A Changed Agent by Tracey J. Lyons. Since it’s my current read, I will share the first line in Chapter Two, which is where I’ve only gotten to so far. “Elsie knew little about William Benton, but as she looked at his niece’s and nephew’s faces, she was certain these children needed someone other than just their uncle to care for them.” I’m already enjoying this writer and I’m excited about reading the rest of this novel.
