Thankfulness — I am always so thankful for my family — my great husband, wonderful 3 kids and my mother-in-law. Yes, I said mother-in-law! I have a great one that prays for us, loves us and would do anything for us. Thank you Lucile B. for being a non-sterotypical mother-in-law.
Traditions — We don’t have a lot of traditions for Thanksgiving (we do have a lot for Christmas though). My husband usually fries a Cajun turkey and we have the regular sides and desserts. Being from the south we usually have collard greens as one of the sides. My husband and kids usually spend the day watching football. I catch up on reading and sleep! We try to get together with our family, but this year we will not be traveling, so we may have friends over to share our meal.
